Meet Alexa Wernick, LCSW, ADHD-CCSP

I am a dedicated provider of creative, evidence-based therapy for children, adolescents, and parents/caregivers. She has always had a passion for working with children and prides herself on helping them thrive. Through parent coaching, I empower families with skills to support their child’s emotions and create a positive home environment. I value collaboration with families, schools, and others involved in a child’s life.

I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, family systems theory, parent management training, SPACE and talk therapy in my practice. My creative approach helps clients engage meaningfully in therapy while they learn evidence-based skills to help them succeed outside of treatment sessions.

I founded Alexa Wernick Psychotherapy, LCSW, PLLC to help children and adolescents unpack the hurdles of growing up and provide guidance to increase self-esteem. I am proud to share that Alexa Wernick Psychotherapy , LCSW, PLLC is a certified as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE).
